With Aotearoa tied up in the fight against Delta, and Alert Levels likely to remain in place for a few weeks yet, we’ve had to make the tough call to postpone the School & Youth Nurses Conference. It will now take place 27 – 28 April 2022. 

Thanks for your patience while we worked through this decision. It didn’t come lightly. While tempting to push forward with the original event, to go ahead would have, at best, compromised a brilliant programme. We want to be able to welcome guests and speakers from across the country.

It’s important to us that this conference is an opportunity to gather and collaborate. While we could have shared sessions online, it would lack the sense of collegiality that we wanted to foster by having us all physically present ‘at the table’. And past delegates have told us that networking is an important part of the experience too.

We know you were looking forward to coming together. So were we. But we promise to make April date an event worth waiting for!

In the meantime, please look after yourselves and the youth within your reach. This is a challenging time, which is exaggerating the highs and lows of daily life. Health and wellbeing is at the heart of what we all do, so we hope you’re able to draw on those skills yourself in the coming weeks as New Zealand gets on top of this virus.
